Dredge Pump: The dredge pump creates the necessary vacuum to suck up the slurry through the suction pipe.

Discharge Pipeline: The discharge pipeline transports the dredged material from the dredge pump to the desired
location. The length and diameter of the pipeline depend on the specific requirements of the project.
Positioning System: Jet Suction Dredgers are often equipped with spuds or anchors to stabilize the vessel during
operations. Some models may also use dynamic positioning systems (DPS) for greater precision and flexibility.
Control Systems: Modern JSDs are equipped with advanced control systems that allow operators to monitor and
adjust the water jet pressure, suction flow, and discharge rate. This ensures optimal performance and efficiency.
